As a Celebrant, delivering your love story, I see tears of joy and hear happy laughter – and you will too!  You will be delighted!

Register your marriage at a Registry Office and experience a personal and meaningful ceremony at another time, with those you love the most.

Wedding Ceremony Elements

Unity Sand Ceremony

The ‘Unity Sand Ceremony’ is ideal for weddings, commitments and naming ceremonies and beautifully symbolises the union of the couple or blending of a new family.

Unity Candle Ceremony

The ‘Unity Candle’ ceremony is loved my many – and those from different cultures too.  It is a symbol of two people coming together, joined by their families.  Choose who you would like to light the candles and tailor this to suit your wishes.

Hand Fasting Ceremony

The original meaning of ‘tying the knot’. The oldest Celtic wedding tradition where the hands are tied with ribbons or cord to symbolise the bringing together two hearts into a marriage of strength and unity forever.

Wine Box of Love Letter Box

This is a wonderful way to record why you have chosen to marry.  Write love letters to each other before the wedding takes place and seal these in an envelope – placing them into a wine box with a favourite bottle of wine.

In choosing this enhancement, the box will be sealed and a vow made not to open until a special occasion or anniversary. The only other occasion the box may be unsealed, is in difficult times. Enjoy the wine and read the letters.  Hopefully be reminded of what it is to fall in love…

Tree Planting Ceremony

The ‘Tree Planting Ceremony’ is where a sapling is placed into in a pretty pot and the couple add soil.  A lovely idea is to take soil from their family gardens and if used for a naming ceremony, children or other family members can also water the tree – to show how they will support the child’s growth.  Use any tree of choice and blend history and significance into the ceremony.

Breaking of the Glass Ceremony

This is a traditional Jewish weddings ritual and it is believed that if a glass is not broken, the couple are not truly married.

This ceremony can be used by any couple regardless of their faith or beliefs and it is safer to place the glasses – usually two champagne flutes – into a cloth napkin prior to standing on and breaking.
